I have been a long-time sufferer of atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, for over four decades. Fortunately, I have had access to one of the finest dermatologists in New England for my entire life. I have tried various treatments, including oral medication, lotions, creams, soaks, and light therapy. While my scalp, face, hands, and feet are affected by dyshidrotic eczema, I also experience random itchy patches on other parts of my body. Although these patches are less severe than my dyshidrotic eczema, they are still very uncomfortable. Despite the itchy, burning, and weeping skin, I have learned to adapt and cope with this condition. At times, the severity of the condition has forced me to use crutches due to blisters on my feet. While I know there is no cure for this condition, I have found that the four primary ingredients in my soaps have helped calm my skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and tend to develop rashes with most of the products I try. Due to this, I have been using the same makeup since high school, and I still rely on baby lotion to moisturize my skin because everything else irritates me. For me, less is more regarding skincare, and I know my skin better than anyone else. That's why I only use five ingredients in my soap, excluding lye, which is used in saponification. These simple products work wonders for my skin, whether burning, itchy, blistered, weeping, acne, or just needing a gentle cleanse. Anyone, regardless of age or skin type, can use my soap.
